WHO CAN USE IHW
All Italians residing outside of Italy or who are just visiting abroad, as well as all doctors and specialists who represent the showcase “Healthcare Made in Italy” across the world.
The WebApp is available in English as well as Italian, giving all other communities access to IHW network.

The IHW app helps to locate doctors and healthcare specialists quickly and efficiently.
Our platform is constantly evolving all the time: with future releases we will introduce additional profiles and specialities
Two search modes are available:
SEARCH by SPECIALITY: Choose your country and search for your doctor or healthcare professional by specialization. The results are highlited in a form of a list, ordered by distance of the healthcare facility from the user, and/or map locations.
FIND HC PROFESSIONALS: search for your doctor or healthcare professional by using multiple keywords such as name, specialty, symptoms, conditions, or procedures.
Our search engine gives the access to the profiles of doctors and healthcare specialists, allowing users to view CVs, specific areas of expertise, services offered, contact details, and also book an appointment by phone or by email.
All profiles include the relevant map location.
Click on the CHAT NOW button to interact directly with the specialists (available only for specialists who have enabled the feature).

IHW aims to become the international platform for Italian doctors and healthcare specialists outside of Italy who collaborate in a network of direct interaction among members.
All those who practice the healthcare profession outside of Italy may join by filling out the form in our WebApp.
Three profiles are available:
RESIDENT BASIC
RESIDENT PROFESSIONAL
VISITING PROFESSIONAL
The resident basic profile is free of charge.
It is available only to doctors and healthcare professionals who practice in their country of residence (outside Italy). The profile includes a professional photo along with the specialization, sub-specialization, work address with map location, telephone number for direct bookings, email address, and optional access to the IHW network chat.
The healthcare professional may switch from the RESIDENT BASIC PROFILE to the PROFESSIONAL BASIC PROFILE at any time.

The resident professional profile is a paid service*.
It is available only to doctors and healthcare professionals who practice in their country of residence (outside Italy). In addition to all features of the RESIDENT BASIC profile, it includes a short professional resumé, areas of competence and services offered, professional website links, videos and interviews from the specialist’s career, logbooks, publications, and the optional direct patient chat service.

The visiting professional profile is a paid service*.
This profile is intended to doctors who temporarily practice outside of Italy. It is a special package that includes all features of the RESIDENT PROFESSIONAL profile in addition to calendar management, with dates and times of availability.

Professionals who join the platform will be added* to the IHW network chat.
This feature allows professionals to interact directly with each other at any time, to jointly discuss clinical cases, to share and to learn about professional training events, congresses, seminars, etc.
The private chat also allows specialists to analyze help and support requests from patients in need.
*The feature is optional, it can be enabled/disabled upon request.
